Before we made it to Nepal, we had one last night in Ghorakpur, India.  We stayed the night in a fairly dodgy hotel where the manager, fishing for commission, told us that the bus to Nepal only left at 4:00 am, and was going to take 6 or 7 hours due to a broken bridge.  [...]
