He guys!

Looks like you still haven't had enough of all the travels. I must admit that I haven't read the entire story (damn this busy Western society), but there were two things that struck me. 1) I love to scratch myself so I'll probably never be able to do the course you did. 2) Michaela I would have loved to switch with you when you had to share a room with 10 other girls. Sorry I couldn't help out.

The Netherlands is having a rainy summer so you get to spend a lot of time inside. And that results in something like this www.degrotek.nl. Its my website with a collection of my songs and paintings. A singer in Amsterdam is putting music under one of my songs and wants to perform it in public!!! So the songwriter story is still going further!

I hope you had a safe trip home and that your not stuck in a backpackers blues. London is great too you know! Otherwise you are always more than welcome to escape London for a trip to The Hague!

The best,
Steven

A day without comparisons is like a day without sunshine - only brighter obviously, and slightly less informative. Looking forward to seeing you soon.

Hi to both of you.

I know that you wrote down your experience of your journey not only to share with your friends but as well for your record, that you can recollect your memories later on, when they will be faded away. But anyway, I thank you very much for your effort. It was really like being with you, when I read your notes, and I feel with you, when there is a crying eye and a laughing eye, as we say in Switzerland. Even I feel nostalgic about the ending of your trip around the world, but I hope that I will meet either Michaela or both of you soon in the near future.

I definitely encourage you to keep on writing down how you cope with the old/new life in our western world, as I think the journey is not finished with the flight home, because the trip will affect your former familiar life, and it will take some time to adapt to it again. I am looking forward to the next entries.

Now, I wish you a very nice time with your families und a happy coming home in London. And I wish that you may kepp your contentment and equanimity gained on your journey in everyday life.

Lots of love
